spinoff thread - what about cheap $ eateries in the city & flushing area where u can get quality great food without shelling out the big bucks????

depends what kind of food ur looking for. Flushing is mostly Korean and Chinese food.

sorry cherry valley isn't cheap...in fact they are way overpriced. last two times i went there they always overcharged me on tax, which i didn't realize until i was driving back and it was too late.

i don't think you could beat chicken and rice @ 53rd and 6th though. people say they're overrated, but i have yet to find one that i return over and over and wait in the freezing cold for.

if you guys venture up in to westchester, Candle Light Inn. banginnn fried junk food type stuff.
wings are awesome
burgers are juicy hand made not frozen
jalapeno/broccli&bacon poppers
chilli etc etc

if a sandwich under 10 bucks isn't cheap to you then i'm not sure what to tell you, also if your calculating tax quit pinchin' pennies brotha.
