Default Head's UP !

BobbyB and I both installed Rick's headers in our cars today ....

I THINK I notice a differencd in performance ... though I can't be 100% sure.

The install was somewhat tedious, but not difficult at all. Working on both cars simultaneously, we took a total of about 5 hours to install the two headers.

Bobby's car (an '03) , had considerable less rust on the bolts than mine (an '01). I really SHOULD have gone out and gotten various new bolts , but instead I reused the old ones.

Rick's Header allows installation of all the stock heat shields , so the pretty piece of stainless steel is not seen at all once the install is done, along with the stock heat shields.

I only took a couple -- too busy working to bother.

There is a good install "how to" by xviper ... it is on a toda header, but the same basic stuff.

After the install is done the engine bay looks exactly the same as before, because Rick's header allows for the reinstallation of all the heat shields.

So the new header, shiny and all that, is not seen unless you look up from under the car..
