HCM....
I recently went to see a heart specialist and get some tests done to see if i had HCM. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, or HCM, is a disease of the muscle of the heart in which a portion of it is thickened without any obvious cause. HCM's more important significance is as a cause of sudden unexpected cardiac death in any age group and as a cause of disabling cardiac symptoms.
And today i recieved my results, I'm okay!!!
So I just wanted to share the news with the s2ki family, since it's good news. I didnt tell anyone before hand because I dont like when people worry about me. But, all is good, so I'll see you guys at the meet tonite.
It just feels good to get a 2nd chance at this, you know, if it turned out the other way, my life would be toatlly different.

congrats, bout time someone had some good news, my crash and 2 other wrecks on this board in a week. Kinda sad, I shouldnt have held out to buy winter tires, thats what i get for procrastinating.
