got slapped with a ticket tonight for....

Okay, so i finally have my S2k back and decided to head out to Wantagh for some pizza and beer with a few of my salesman buddies. Around 12am we walk out of the bar and we're standing by my S talking. I notice something tucked under my wiperblade on the driver's side. Without even touching it i knew what it was... it was pink and folded in half. So i grab it and sure enough... it's a ticket for no front plate. Now I was not on a main street, and i was in a parking lot. Some Nassau cop must have been rollin' by and saw my car. Stupid ticket is $90 no less. And to top it off, I had a Suffolk PBA badge in the windshield above my reggie. The cop HAD to see it when he was putting the tix under my blade. Not really complaining, as i am well aware of the risk i am taking for this by not having front plate. But i never thought i'd get snipered in a damn parking lot.

cant u get out of it, because doesnt the front plate have to only be on if ur driving.

i thought u were allowed to take it off for car shows and stuff, while your car is parked

but man phil that sucks, hope u can get out of it

not really. they can get you while you are parked, even if it is right in front of ur house. As long as the car is on the road, you have to have it on. Sorry to hear it though Phil but i m glad you got ur s2k back!
