Got Hit Last Night!
I think the pictures says it all. Was sitting in traffic on the LIE around Exit #26 Eastbound and out of nowhere, BOOM. I got rear ended at probably around 40MPH and I was sitting still and ended up hitting the car in front of me from impact. Since it was a real collision, I would assume it is not going to be totalled but you never know. Just glad I am okay. New S2K? LOL!

damn..for 40mph the bumper held up pretty well...i would have thought the trunk would have crushed in or something along those lines...glad to hear you're safe...check yourself into a hospital considering you might have neckpains in the next acouple of days

unless there's someone hurt or somebody on the verge of dying at the scene..cops could care less and they'll take their damn time

Yeah cops will take their time, for something so minor in the grand scheme of things.... After Murders, Robberies, Shooting, Burglaries, Rapes, a property damage only vehicle accident ranks right up there with finding Jimmy Hoffa.
To the OP I'm glad your ok which is what really matters, and I don't think the person who hit you was doing 40 cause I'd say there would be lots more damage.
What time was this? I wonder if you were the one that was responsible for the backup/detour I had to do last night?

Obligatory "that will buff right out."
Sorry man....as long as you are ok that's all that matters. Glad to see Honda made such a sturdy car. For 40 mph, it held up nicely.
