got cut
hey guys got a phone call this morning from my neighbor that the top on my car was cut open. was wondering what usually happens with insurance in this situation? car was parked in front of my house so its covered. will they let me buy a hardtop or just give me another soft top?

Put in your claim and you will get all your questions answered best.
If your insurance company gives you a check you can do with it what you wish. Some companies ask to send your car to be repaired. Again, best bet is for you to put your claim in.

if you dont have any payments on the car and own it then they will offer to fix it with one of their shops or give you a check and let them fix it with any shop you please.

i have state farm i have to pay a $500 deductable. my friend owns a shop and they let me choose where i want to go. im trying to find a hard top though if anyone knows anybody who is selling one. and no nothing was stolen just water in the car from the rain.
