I've always wondered where all the good spots are for shooting our cars in the NY Metro/LI area. I'm sure people in this forum have taken some quality shots of their S2000s so hopefully you guys can contribute to this list with detailed locations and where to park. Preferably tasteful backgrounds that complement the car instead of clashing.

Maybe could be a sticky for anyone who's interested in using this thread as a go-to guide?

I've only started seriously thinking about this topic recently after detailing the car last week. I'll begin...

1) Grumman Memorial Park in Calverton, LI (vis-a-vis the F14 jet on display)
2) Orient Harbor near the easternmost tip of LI's North Fork (shoulder pull-off where you can get the water of the harbor and distant boats in the background)
3) Walt Whitman Mall upper level garage in Dix Hills, LI (but the anal mall security threw me out 10 minutes into the shoot lol)
4) Montauk Lighthouse at Montauk Point, LI (park in the roundabout to place the lighthouse in the distance as the background)
