good eats in the city

I taking my mom and her to girlfriends to a play in the city and want to go to eat afterwards but clueless where to go!!! Any suggestions !! I was thinking a italian and some place we can sit and relax and drink. But if u know of a better place to than that cool to thanks in advance!!!

Best Halal food ( South west corner of 53rd and 6th ave...theres always a line)

EAST Japanese resturant 23rd and 3rd ( Its a sushi go-round setup , truely japanese inspired)

Smith and Woolenski ( best steak house in midtown east) 49sih and 3rd

If you like Indian food i recommend BanJara's Corner ( South west Corner of E 6th and 1st ave.

p.s and for dessert i would recommend Vineros but they are temp closed.
