Default Getting new soft top

I'm getting a new soft top because it has tears and some wierd stains. I went to a specialty shop that does nothing but convertibles. They want to charge me $1200-$1300 to replace the top. That includes everything parts and labor. It'll be the OEM vinyl (they wanted too much for canvas) with glass window. Do you guys ( and gals) think that its a fair price???

Well....new OEM top is about 900+. And it's quite a job, so yes I'd say that's a very fair price

Ask them how much just to install so you could get the OEM with the glass.

Good point! Im too lazy to run around. They actually specialize in older models i.e. 1920 -present. I feel they should do a good job...as long as they dont take it for a joy ride!

Seriously, that is a great price. I could do it for that but I'd be bitting my cheek

My friend owns a bodyshop and he got me a nice canvas top from cabrioworld. He can probably do the whole thing for $1k. If you want him to check let me know. Plus he's originally from Garfield.
