Default Fuel Guage Said 2 Bars but I ran out of gas wtf!?

So I was thinking to fuel pump that came with the greddy turbo kit crapped out. So I open up the tank to replace the pump and realize "this crap is dry wtf" I examined the part and didn't notice any rust or anything on the arm or float. . .any ideas???

yea, it happens.

when you replace your fuel pump, you have to move the whole assembly around. sometimes it can mess up the float reader apparatus thingy.

rule of thumb - get gas more often

did you throw the slanted fuel pump sock that came with the greddy kit? you are supposed to reuse the sock that the stock pump uses. The slanted sock doesn't work well with the level float, getting all the gas etc...
