The Edge iPhone is the only one that works with the Ipod adapter also. Maybe others ones are made that work for it but not that I saw.

That looks really nice! I would be slightly worried that my arm resting in that area would mess something up.

Yeah kinda looks like that, but my arm rests to it's left and a little in front mostly. I usually rest my arm while still holding the shift knob and keeps my elbow away from the iphone.

Yeah charging was the original idea since mine always dies on me and I really hate having stuff pluged into the cig lighter.
Now I just gotta hardwire my GPS and radar detector and I'll be good.
