fender rolling tips?

hey guys,
anyone here roll the fenders on their S? i've rolled the fenders on the audi, but i'm a little scared to roll the ones on my s2000.
the front wheels are 17x7.5 +48 shod with 225 45 es100's. i rub the outer portion of the fender (the plastic clips) over very large bumps, and its just a matter of time until the tires blow my fenders like the sw388's did.
i've done some research on s2ki as well as some other sites, and it looks like all that's involved is a heat gun and a baseball bat. i know for a fact that the paint that honda uses is quite thin and would thus be prone to cracking. after rolling, what'll happen to the plastic clips that hold the liner in place?? i would really like to avoid cutting anything.
i've called a couple body shops in the area and the average price is about $100 per fender with no guarantee on paint damage. i've also looked into renting a roller, but i fear that with my inexperience i'll end up messing things up even more. i could purchase a set of 215 45 17's, but that would be my last resort.
any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

As Dan said, not much space for rolling the fronts. I could see having a bidy shop cut or bend the half inch metal piece of the fender that the liner attaches to i guess, but $$$. The rear you can definitly roll, but unfortunately the rear is not a problem for most, its the front. I think going to a 215 is the way to go.
