Like it says here my warranty is about to run out. I've been offered an extended warranty but I need to pay up front 2100 bucks. What do you guys think? 3 years or 36000 miles , 2100 bucks. Personally I don't think it's worth it.I f it was you what would you do?

Don't do it. You could get a used engine AND tranny for less than that.

do you think you'll be spending $2,100 in the next three years on an '05 on just things covered under warranty?

Personally, I'd put the money in a bank account and see Billman when you need to get things done.
I'll bet you $2,100 that you'll have money left over when 3 years is up.

Is it from Honda or a 3rd party? If its from a 3rd party FORGET IT! I went through hell to get them to pay for my blown engine in my Ford. NOT worth it.

No Mary, hoping I can spend that much on some other mods though. Roughly 700 bucks a year.
Ray its a Honda warranty offered by the dealer.

when i bought my car i bought the extended warranty from honda for $2,100.00 as well.

dont do it. There is a $100 deductible for any service.

dont do it.....that warranty is only worth like $800

val--not all hondacare warranties have deductibles, most actually are $0.00 deduct.

you could have gone to a local auto parts store and gotten one for like 10 bucks.
