Default DST - world did not end

The day light savings time came early and our computers and systems are still running. I'm here at work with the usually crew doing a lot of nothing. Time to get caught up on reading posts!!!

this would only affect greatly financial institutions that rely on time stamps for their timely business transactions.

I was up as well checking systems at work

this is true obviously, but you won't lose money if your clock if off by an hour while you get to it to adjust it (unless of course, you are late to work by an hour ), institutions/businesses might.

Mine's not reading 1 hr ahead either.

I'll give it to my 18yr old to set ahead...I'm to lazy to try to figure out how to do it.
Besides, the boy's gotta earn his keep somehow

did you folks try shutting it down and powering back on again?

I know you don't have to do that but you never know

We had to switch the blackberrys from blackberry to network time to get them to update.

Funny that most of the unix systems had issues with this time change and not the MS systems at work.
