Call me crazy.. but Id rather see a 190hp Elise run a road course than a 1090hp Supra go straight on a highway.

Need more of this..

This video was obviously going to be a "straight line" race video, don't watch it if your not going to like it.

Not everyone here hates straight line stuff (as evident by the amount of FI).

I love straight line stuff. The amount of torque that you feel on the highway at 60mph when you're in boost is orgasmic! My puny 485whp Integra was awesome and I miss it so much. I can't imagine having more than twice the power.

One day....

I didn't have a steady job, I was teaching piano after graduating college. Living paycheck to paycheck. I didn't even have engine management. I somehow got it to work with a graduated FMU and Apexi S-AFC.....and no timing control.

Every time something broke (which was almost every time I floored the gas and it hit full boost for more than few seconds haha) it would sit in my garage for a few weeks until I could scrounge up money to buy a part. Couldn't afford to maintain it. Eventually it died when the Type R LSD I put in literally grenaded. No way I could afford to fix that with no "real" job. So I sold it.

I still miss the thing.

i love straights and curves. In the future i'll have a straight line bruiser AND a corner carver. For now I'll have my straightline car and occasionally AutoX it and be beaten by cars making 3x less horsepower than me. When you don't subscribe to one side of the fence, things become a lot more enjoyable.
