Default Cold Weather Problem?

Since it's gotten really cold the last few weeks, on the below 40 days, everytime I started my car it would run for a few seconds, then it'll stall. I'll start it again and it'll be fine. This happen to any of you? I'm going into the 3rd year with this car and I don't remeber this happening the last couple of winters. Any ideas? Should I be worried?

it's happened to me only in extreme cold after the initial start of the car or right after i release the clutch.

you shouldn't be worried about anything.

I noticed that it almost stalls out when i release the clutch also.
But i tried with the fan turned off and i think it solved the problem.
Just turn on the fan when the car is running for a min or two.
Let me know if you guys have the problem after you do that.

There was a post a while ago about if you reset the ECU when its cold it fixes the problem. It had something to do with the ECU learning the new conditions outside. I don't know if it works but its worth a try. I never really drive mine in the winter so its not a problem when it does stall I just start it again.

Kev, where've you been? Glad to hear you're still around. We should get together sometime.

Let out your clutch slowly and be ready to push it back in if it begins to stall. Eventually, your ECU will learn to compensate for the added drag of a cold tranny.
