Thumbs up Clutch slipping - big time under hard shifting

Well... I think I made a big mistake removing my delay valve. I started noticing my clutch slipping under hard shifting (not dumping the clutch, but shifting at redline aggressively) and now it's becomming even more apparant that the clutch is definitely getting worse. I only have 10k miles on my car so I am a little upset that its so bad and now noticably getting worse!

Any idea as to how much a new clutch will cost me if I go back to OEM and if so, can the delay valve be re-installed?

What clutch are you running now? and do you do a lot of traffic driving? im pretty sure the DV can be re-installed.

Stock clutch.. Daily driver, not a lot of stop and go and I stay in neutral when at lights.

He thinks it might be the weight of the flywheel.. but I am hessitant to change the flywheel and the clutch at this point just to find out.

Tel1sps had a similar problem.
The issue is that the AP2 flywheel is heavy.
If your going to remove the delay valve you should put in a lightened flywheel.
Talk with Tel1sps - he has installed a lightened flywheel - see if it cleared up for him.

Norm, if you do swap out your clutch though I would upgrade the pressure plate to an ACT. It grabs 100 times better then stock, and is still great for daily driving.
