Default Clutch Problem update **6/19**

Already posted in UTH but no responses

I've owned 3 mt cars and I've never had a clutch problem with them, so I apologize in advance if this is a noob question. I got in my car after work last night and noticed it was very difficult to place the shifter into gear. I drove about 10 minutes and stopped somewhere for a few hours and got back in the car- same thing but now the clutch pedal sinks almost completely to the floor before it grabs. I gunned it in 1st gear and it did not slip. That particular clutch set up is an oem disk, ACT pp, and Comptech flywheel. I had it installed a little over a year ago when Honda bought a new engine for me.

I'm assuming I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder?

**I just noticed there's some fluid by the clutch pedal**

If theres fluid by the pedal then I would say the master cylinder is at fault. The slave cylinder is mounted on the transmission. Hows the fluid level in the reservoir?

You need a fluid replacement and clutch adjustment. No parts.

Bled clutch as Billman suggested and for the time being it works. While I was under it though, the slave cylinder was squeaking really loud while my friend worked the pedal. Does that mean its shot? Also there was fluid on it- not sure if it was leakage or spillage from draining it though.
