Cell Phone Question
The display on my t-mobil razor phone just went bad, phone still works.
What are my options so i don't loose any of my numbers?
Can i take the sim card out of this phone and put it into another? What's a razor cost these days?
Can i take the card out of this phone and put it into another? i have another compnay phone here but it's a not a razor, it's a Nokia 6085 and i don't like it as much.
Thanks Metro...

Like anuj said, if you had your contacts saved on the SIM, then it's as simple as putting that SIM into another phone
However, my cingular razr that I used to have did NOT put them (default setting I suppose) on the SIM card, rather on the phone.
If your contacts aren't on the SIM, I believe motorola or some third-party software company makes a program that lets you transfer your contacts from the phone into a program like outlook. As long as its only the display that isn't working on the razr, then you'll be able to recover the contacts. Whichever phone you get next, just transfer the contacts from outlook onto the new phone.

It looks like what you want is Motorola Phone Tools v5.0 or the newest version you can get your hands on. It costs money but you should be able to find it for free online somewhere.

find someone with a razor and find out how to transfer all of the phone numbers to SIM and mimic this process on your phone at the same time.
