damn, leo, sorry to hear man.
if you can, get the soft top back from the shop. you can recoup some of that $1000 you have to shell out. the latches sell for $100 for the pair, the rubber seals sell for $50 for all of them and then you can sell patches and make $100-$150 off those. ive done it with 3 or 4 tops in the past. all of those parts sell well on here. if you dont have the time or the room to do it, i'll help you. just shoot me a text when you have the soft top back.

a new top and to respray all of the panels....thats probably over $5k.
thinking about it, they will probably only pay a shop to put on a new softtop and not the whole thing. they will probably reuse the latches, but you should get new rubber seals and the shop will cut off the old fabric. ask them for it instead of them throwing it away.
