Default Can't start car, please help

Hey metro, I'm having trouble starting my gf's 2005 Honda accord 2.4 manual coupe. The symtoms before this occurred was the cel was on and the code was P0369 which is cam position sensor (exhaust). I replaced the sensor with an aftermarket sensor while the battery was disconnected. After reconnecting the battery I attempted to start the car and it only cranks but it won't start. Also, the battery light and cel won't bulb check while the key is in position 2. I'm assuming the bulbs not flashing has to do with the car not starting. I also don't hear the fuel priming when the key is turned to position 2. What could it be? All the other bulbs on the cluster turn on, the pw locks/windows work, the lights, heater, wipers work as well. I already checked the fuses and the battery is fine also. Could it be the ecu? Maybe it needs to be reprogramed? I can't figure it out and it's driving me insane.

did you try putting the old sensor back in to see what happens ? Maybe your aftermarket sensor was damaged or no good.

Tried that as well. Would a scanner be useful at the moment without a cel avail? My guess is no...

Yes, it could be useful. Did the car start with the old sensor in? Try swapping and make sure it starts. What brand sensor did you use?

Before I changed the sensor, the car was idling/revving up and down but it was working. I swapped out the sensors and tried to start the car again, it refuses to start but it cranks. As for the brand...I can't think of the name but it was $75 or so and it was available for pick up while the OEM was about $100 and wasn't in stock.

Can't figure this thing out. Is it possible the ecu needs to be resetted? The accord has a chipped key like our s2ks. Also if that is problem how much would it cost me at honda?

Anti theft. The ecu is not recognizing the key

Oh crap, is that why the cel/battery light isn't on? I don't have another chipped key. Only a valet key.

its possible but if the car is cranking and not turning over and the key light is flashing its the anti theft and you will have to get the key programmed
