What do you expect them to do for you?

Dont expect any help. If anything, they'll arrest you or give you some other ticket/summons.

I got a ticket last night as i came out of the holland tunn for making a wrong turn. The police officer said that it was a traffic offence even though i didnt see anything stating that i couldnt make that right turn. The officer wrote on the ticket " Disobeyed a green arrow " which i did not see. It was a trap there was atleast 12 car there also. Now my question is since its a first offence, if i fight it will they drop the 2pts. Also the the pts get carried over to NJ. OOO and lets consider the fact that i was "lost"

There is no plea bargaining in NYC. You are either guilty or not guilty. So if you want to fight it go ahead. But I am pretty sure the pts don't get carried over to NJ unless you do fight it. So you might as well just pay the fine. Call a traffic attorney in NJ and ask them if the pts transfer. I know NJ tickets don't show up on my NY license.

NJ is the only state that pulls pts from other state. used to be 2pts maximum but now, I heard that it's full points.
