Blue smoke
Ok so i have my buddie drive my car and i noticed that theres blue smoke blowing out of the exhaust everytime he accelerates. Idk what to do im freaking out cuz this will be the 4th motor already!!!!! what do you guys think ? im going to pull the plugs tomorrow to see if theres any sighn of blow by in the cylinders.

this also happened to me when i replaced my exhaust header studs and i spilled some oil into my downpipe idk if u did anything like that but. it could be a blown seal?

if it burns oil on acceleration its your rings. If it smokes on decel its your valve seals or defective PCV valve. Do you have a cat on? or are you running a test pipe? I would do a compression and leak down test and see whats up. Also, have you noticed increased oil consumption? Some motors just burn oil, so if the test come back alright, i'd just chaulk it up to the 'personality' of the motor.

it only does it some times i need some one to do a compression test can anyone help me. i dont understand y it would be the rings i always change my oil on time. i went from dyno back to synthetic and ever since then its been doing it. i also chew up tensioners and i have no clue why. so far this one has been good but who knows with the next oil change coming up it could go bad...
