Billman Motion S2000 Repair Thread IV
#1791
Hey Billman,
I've got an 06 s2000 at 155k miles that I believe needs a rear wheel bearing (so would probably do both). Also, with these miles, would really like you to give it a once over to give me some peace of mind/catch up on anything that needs to be done. If you could shoot me a PM and let me know availability, ball park on price, and let me know if there's any other info I can provide that'd be great.
Thanks!

Need New Shortblock, help
Hey bud, all finger point to you when in need of help. And I have found myself in need of help.
The story,
Driving home from chipotle after an oil change my car suddenly cut off, I pulled over and found my oil filter had fallen off... I got an uber new oil and filter and filler her up and drove her home...you probably know the rest of the story.
So now my car is sitting in my garage torn half apart, head off and rods out. And I find that cylinder 4 and piston 4 have some decent scoring (see attached images). Now I am in need of help/advice/direction.. a new engine? sleeves? new piston/rings/bearings/and rods and throw it back together till it explodes?
Initially bought new bearing and rods in hopes to replace those to fix the knock, before i found the scoring.
Please advise
2003 ap1 turbo
~10k miles on build

Engine has to come out, torn down and built from scratch.
S2000 PCX Oil filters have to be tightened with a wrench. Between yours and 2 at the track, thats three filter spin offs in one weekend.

Wow 3 in one week huh? It is a pretty sad way to blow a motor.
I am located in MD, looking for somebody to do the work. Would this be something you are interested in?
Thank you for the quick reply

For whatever reason Billman, can't send you a PM. I sent you my number in the first message. Maybe you can call or text? I am located in Portland, OR (you asked where I was located). Just wanting to buy your TCT unit or I'll need to buy a stock one. Thanks
