First off I have a habit of looking in the mirror and then opening the door only a crack before I check again and get out. The door was only partially open when the fool hit it. He came from around the corner and then he tried to pass a truck on the right hand side that stopped in front of him.

Why don't you do the 5 boro bike tour 30,000 bikers you can take them out 1 at a time .

that's the truth. it's the burden to check before opening. even if you check it would be your fault.
