No idea what EWR is but if its in NJ, just park and take the ferry over. It lets you off right next to the javit center

ez iest & least expensive is Edgwater Park & ferry to Javits (across the street)

safest (from a car POV) is Park & Lock at 42nd street...

all the lots near the show bump their day rates up to around 40 bucks for the show....

Dont drive in. They have event rates in effect which is $50. If you park two or three blocks away, it's $40. It's much easier to take the ferry in.

Once in the city, take her out to lunch or dinner in the city since you dont have to worry about your car.

My buddy drove into the auto show, parked is Saab in a zone where parking is prohibited before 7 and his car got towed by the NYPD anyway. That night ended up costing him $180+fees.

I would park in the park and lock lot on 42nd Street Between 9th and 10 Avenue (you'll see it when you come right out of Lincoln Tunnel). Then take a cab to the Auto Show ...
