Best place to buy/install tires?
Hey guys. Where do you guys get your tires? I have an AP2 with oem wheels. Just looking to replace the tires. A few questions:
1. Worried about installer scratching the rims. How do I know the shop is trust worthy?
2. Do I need to change all tires or just the rears? (The rears are bald the fronts are not nearly as bad.
3. Who is the cheapest? Tire rack?
Thanks everyone in advance.

I had a "trustworthy" place replace a tire, and they scratched my rim. I told them, either they can pay for the wheel, and Ill pay for the service, or the tire and install is free. Guess which one I got?
Anyways, go to a place that deals with high end cars, and/or a place that sells wheels. Places that sell wheels know how to put on tires without damaging them. As for where, in NJ, I have no clue.

Well...tires are best online. Usually a place will charge less than $20 bucks for mounting.
Ive been good...working like crazy, gotta make that paper
How've you been Vin?

I got tires at tirerack.com a couple months ago and it was great all around. Also, I don't know if he's still on here but I also got help from Jim@tirerack on this site. On their web-site they give you low prices and also a list of reccomended installers with reviews from others, also you can have them ship the tires directly to the installer. It was a good experience.

As for where to buy? are you looking for OEM rubbers? Im going with the Hankook Ventus Rs2 from edgeracing.com They are popular for auto X and are about 115 for the front and 95 bucks for the front. You cant beat that deal for 17" sizes.
