Bay area member visiting NY for the first time...
Visiting NY for the first time in October and staying a week. Ideal place to stay, sites/events to see, restaurants to check out, etc. ? Thanks for any info.

well depending on what your into, you can always walk around the city: for example times sqaure or you can come out east and party in the hamptons
one of my favorite restaurants would have to be gashos, a japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you
