Bad habit caught up with me tonight.
I drove home last night from Jersey and forgot to gas up. I figured for sure I will make it home with plenty of bars left. When I got home there were 2 bars left. Great!
This morning before heading back to work to Jersey, I see my gas guage with no bars. Hmm... now this has happened before and I usually make it back to Jersey okay (a 26-mile commute) with a gallon left on the gas tank (I know this because I check how much gallons I fill up with after).
So I headed to work with no worries. Got there fine. On my way back home tonight on Route 46 towards GWB I figured I would stretch my luck a little more and see if I could make it a couple of more miles since all the gas stations are at the end of route 46, which is 2 miles away from my work. Route 46 is an uphill climb about a half a mile long. At the middle of that hill my car sputtered and died. Oh shit! I knew it! I knew it! Is all I kept mumbling to myself. The hill moved all the little gas I have left to the rear of the gas tank!
Good thing BP was just a quarter mile away. Bought an overpriced 2 gallon container at $12 and 1.8 gallons of gas. Walked back to my car. As I get near it a tow truck pulled up. Looked at me with a smile on his face. I guess he was hoping the gas wasn't the real problem and I would be needing a tow. Fawker!
Filled it up. Cleaned up. Push the start button and she fired right up. Aaaahhh yeah. I love happy endings.

damn...
the gas in NYC it's way more then in Jersey, so everytime i went to Jersey meeting, and fill it up on way coming back home lolzz, and atleast saved me 5-6 dollar for the Toll fee for the TUnnel
