Tmobile is good in NYC, it sucks in midwest and non metro areas.
If most of the time you spend in the city then data is pretty good.
Obviously if you travel all over verizon is the best.

this might not be the same thing, but recently I have been getting a lot of e-mails from AT&T ..

"Dear Customer, We have been reviewing your text message usage & feel you would benefit from upgrading to the unliimited text plan for $20/month.. blah blah blah"

My current plan is 450 mins, 5000 night & weekend.. plus 1500 texts for extra 10 or $15, cant remember... last month I used 150 texts lol

I don't hear good things regarding t-mobile. I heard verizon has really good phone reception but hows their Internet service? I was told their prices are the same if not more expensive than AT&T. How about sprint?

I think if you upgrade you start a new contract? I could be wrong. Whatever you do, call them up and find out before you consider it. I wish I received an email telling me... Dear customer, you never use your minutes. We are going to refund you $$. My minutes keep rolling over and I never use it.

actually I have been out of contract for 3-4 years now.. I got the superslim Samsung A727 from them with a 2 year contract back in '06 I think , plan came out to $65 month total, then the 2 years ended & I have just been making the same monthly payment. When my screen broke I bought a few unlocked A727's from newegg.com for $40 each to avoid getting a new phone/contract.

I get 30% off Verizon's rates, some deal that we part of for work. This for PERSONAL non work phones.

Anyway, if you don't want to change your contract you don't have to. At least I don't. They'll just lock me in with the CURRENT contract for another 2 years.

sprint coverage sucks inside the building and outside metro area.
many calls go straight to voicemail even at full bars of service with different phones.
