Default Anyone have any extra Honda Type-2 Coolant?

I just checked my coolant level and its a bit low. I don't need a lot , maybe 1/2 quart at most. Does anyone have any extra coolant lying around that they could spare?

don't think they sell bottles...its prob the full jug which i think is like a gallon? basically present fluid level is right at the "MIN" line. I guess the volume bet. min/man is 1/2qt? Or maybe less?

If anyone had some coolant left around i would buy out whatever they had otherwise i'm stuck with 3/4 gallon of unneeded coolant unless i do a flush....

why not put a little distilled water. It shouldn't increase the freeze point too much. I know i have done that in the past with no issue.

yea i see you have an '02. that still takes the green stuff. the blue stuff is new.

im going to be doing a full flush this spring and putting in the blue stuff. 60k and 6 yrs is enough for my original coolant.

as long as its designed for an all aluminium motor. The honda coolant is designed specifically for our types of motor and has a low silicate content. You might want to look into it before you put on too many miles.

whats cost on oem coolant? anyone know?

I'm taking my coolant out this week regardless. If oem is the same price of a few $ more I'll use it to be safe
