Default Anybody use Nextel?

My phone is on it's last legs. Thinking of switching to Nextel, need opinions on coverage for the 5 boros and Long Island.

Thanks!

NEXTEL SUCK !!!!

WE are using Nextel ( @ work) and the service sucks, it used to be good, when it was business use only, but know the signal it soo weak it not even a joke,
the only reason I dont bith too much is because the co. pays the bill.

what cell co do you have?

I have AT&T GSM and it's horrible. I get dropped calls all day long. Which kills me when I have problems with my clients.

For some suggestions/advice - talk to Harold at CBEO -- Jericho Tpk., north side, between Mineola Blvd, and Willis Ave..

He has been very helpful over the years ... you can use my name.

I have nextel. Although they do have dead spots, all cell companies do.

Their DC is invaluable, their customer support is ten leagues above the others, and their plans are good, especially the free incoming plans. I have had every single cell phone provider since the mid/late 90s and Nextel is the only one I have stuck with.

(Omnipoint, Mci. ATT, Tmobile, Nextel, Cingulair and Verizon)

The free incoming calls is a nice incentive, since most of my calls are from customers complaining about something. I hate using phones, myself but I have no choice.
