You might try Ryan, RL1924, I believe he and his dad run a construction/contracting business.

Hey my friends dad does a lot of construction work. He renovated two of our houses from the ground up and re-did my parents house's driveway, patio, and did a little plumbing work around the house too. Hes pretty cheap i think. What are you looking to do?

Thanks for the replies.

I am doing custom work where I am implementing some sliding doors to my apt. I started the job with someone and they have disappeared on me. Basically the job is to copy what has already been done. If you know how to cut wood with different tools and know how to use a wood nail gun and a cement nail gun (floor and ceiling are cement) you can finish this job in a couple of days.

now if these were glass sliding doors i could help you out.

either way, my guys are all union carpenters that do amazing work, i just dont think it would pay for them to go all the way out there to do side work.

the work is to be done in bronxville correct?
