Hey guys,

Just wondering if there are any s2k owners in or close to the city. The majority of s2k's i run into are either from some place far like Long Island or NJ.

I used to own an ap1 in Florida then sold it. Now I want another one and was curious to know how you guys deal with parking and if you had
any issues with owning an S in the city???

Some guys have owned and street parked in Manhattan. Not the best idea since your bumpers are not safe from hits (from parking cars) anywhere in the 5 boroughs. Most S owners have safe and secure areas to park their cars away from high risk theft and parking nightmares.

It is not impossible but seriously not advised to park the S on the street unless you have a garage or live out in the burbs.

Lastly, it's not just the parking you have to worry about but the insane amount of potholes.

Potholes in the Bronx = OMG. SupaStar lives in the Bronx, I went to visit him once, but never again!!! I thought my S was gonna need to be towed back!!!

Ahh potholes, another obstacle for an S. I actually live in the Bronx

Do u guys drive to work everyday? I would like to but parking is expensive
downtown.

Whether it's an S2000 or another car, take the subway. It'll be faster/cheaper/less stressful than driving during rush hour. Isn't that what you do now? If you must drive, perhaps save it for those occasional days where you feel like 'top downing' in Manhattan.

Yea I do but If I'm gonna own a car I'd like to use it. Guess you're right. I should use it on those occasional days.
