Jon: I fail to see how me driving spiritedly on the Dragon (while cautioning myself and everyone to drive within their own limits, and that it's not a race to see who's faster) is the same as encouraging someone to drive fast and hard in a competition. If you can't see the difference (or just refuse, for the sake of argument, to make the distinction) then we have nothing further to discuss. Driving spiritedly =/= street racing.
The difference i see between the two is not the danger, immaturity levels or competition, but one defines being faster in a straight line, while the other, how quickly one can get around turns. Each has their own camp and warped sense of reality. Both camps also have ways of making their competition less dangerous and legal.

At no point in time did I encourage anyone to drive outside their limits, nor did I encourage anyone to engage in competitive driving where he/she might be encouraged to drive outside their own limits.
If that's the same as street racing, only around curves, then you're right.
