Default Advice for mitsubishi oil leak prob.

Hey all, so my 'rents car a 99' auto Mitsubishi eclipse is apparently leaking oil. It was brought to Firestone and they wouldn't repair the leak. They said it was too involved/big job.

My parents called Mitsubishi and then told them Firestone said there was a head gasket problem. Mitisu quoted $750 in labor and $65 in parts w/o looking at the car.

They don't really have this money, and they are unsure if this is covered under warranty. Can anyone have any advice / recommendations?

PS, I

I would confirm where the leak is coming from. You say Bill checked it out in the past but leaks dont fix themselves so you can count on repairing that and whatever new leaks have come about. Dealers will always bend you over backwards.. I know.. i work for one. find someone you trust to check the leak out and go on from there.
