VAFC
Does anyone have a VAFC installed on their S2K? If so did you notice a differance and who installed it? I've been thinking about get one installed on my ride for a while now. I've heard you can get an extra 10hsp out of one. Would like to get it installed and Dino tuned at the same time.

I don't know if ayone local has a VAFC (for fuel management I use the basic ESM and manual FPR that came with my supercharger) ... there are lots of comments in the "under the hood" forum on VAFC and it sounds like proper tuning (and maybe some bolt-ons like exhaust) may give another 10hp max.
Since dyno and a/f tuning is definitely necessary, I would question if the mod is worth the hassle... if you're into tuning projects though it might be worth a try...

I had a VAFC 2 on mine for a while b4 my clutch went out and it did help not alot though but my as soon as the check engine light came on (I am currently catless hence the check engine light) it put the VAFC in a safe mode and cut back the rev limiter to about 6k so I had it removed. I set the vtec to engage at a lower point about 5500 rpm so proper tunning should give a decent increase, mine was not entirely properly tuned we were waiting on the arricval of a dyno at my friends shop. P.S. if you are looking to getting a VAFC1 I have the frog harness for it that I would like to get rid of it will not work with a VAFC2 .
