Awesome you guys should have lots of fun. We been getting a lot of snow up in that area. It's very small town mainly known for its ski/snowboarding area and arts. Not sure where to eat and all I'm sure the other members will chime in and tell you though. Have fun!

I went up there about 2 weeks ago. Nice mountain. You HAVE to go to the top. The view of the back bowls are breath taking. (Lift 6 or 2 take you to the top.) I stayed at the The Austing Haus. Was a pretty nice place, comfortable beds and the loft was a cool experience. It's also like 5mins away from the ski area. For food, there's not much near the ski valley(other than the ski area resturants, which are still delicious), but if you go into town, there's some great mexican food there. Look for the non chain places. I cannot remember the place where we ate but it was really small, like 1 room quartered.

So now to Taos its a pretty small town. I can't give any advice really I have only been up there to play hockey. I would try and see to Gourge bridge if you have some free time. Taos is a very artsy town.

No I am sadly from New Mexico. I wish I lived back there. Every time I go back I wish I could just up and move. Do you know anything about the cnc machining trade out there? One thing I thought of is you may need to bring an oxygen tank out here with you as Taos is I believe 12000 feet above sea level at the peak. All kidding aside Taos is a kickass mountian. My dad use to be a pretty avid skier. Ill ask him I he knows anything about Taos. Also on a side note I don't know why I put the word two in my first post,ha ha.
