Modified Tuner Shootout.. (Phoenix AZ)
Hey Everyone!
I was in Az this past weekend and met up with some of the S2ki owners in Phoenix. They told me about some modified tuner shootout event happening in April. My cousin wants to go and has some of the VW community wanting to go with him. I thought I would see if anyone here would like to go as well.
Its on April 10 a Saturday. Supposedly cars from all surrounding states are coming in for it. Some information is here:

I split costs with my cousins (4 people total) this last weekend and it was $125.00 a person for 3 days including food. We also took a quad cab truck down and that was 18mpg when driving conservatively. If people want we can go as a caravan out there to check the event out.
Anyone interested?

I need to get my track car....on track. Firebird International Raceway is awesome. I've auto-xed out there in the past and would love to do a track event with NASA.
For those who are attending, have fun!

Are you planing on driving or just watching? Sounds like you need to be a NASA licensed driver for the actual event and then there is a 15 min. track run with an instructor open to the public. I think either way I'd like to check it out if I'm not working.
