The last RGR SCCA event of this season is upon us. Fortunately, the event has been moved from the Santa Fe Downs (horrible lot) to the UNM G lot. There will be plenty of instructors available to ride with you and give pointers. The G lot is not very large, so the course will probably focus on technical driving elements.

If you've never auto-xed and want to see what the RGR SCCA club is all about, please come out. Flag me down or ask around for "Jake" and I'll be glad to answer any questions, ride with people, drive someone's car ...etc. I'll be trying out a shifter kart for this event, so no S2000 racing for me.

Cost - $40 for non-members, $30 for members

Location - UNM G LOT

Registration and Tech open at 7:45am and they close at 8:45am. I would suggest showing up around 8:00am so you can get plenty of course walks in and not be rushed. There will be loaner helmets available on site.

We are also having our last autocross at Cohen stadium in El Paso on the 31st. We do not have many S2000s at the event so I do not think there is a big S2000 group in El Paso.

there was a post from a ElPaso member a few days ago with pictures from their last meet. had like 9 s2k's thats more then we get on average. lol

Yeah, I saw that event on their calendar. I hope to make a few Pan-Am SCCA events next season. My co-drive is the event chair for this RGR event, which is one of the reasons we're not headed down to El Paso.

See a few of you guys at the event. I've never met any of you, so no promises I'll be able to put 2 and 2 together. I'll be the skinnier guy in the blue/green shifter kart.
