wassup everyone. thanks for all your support! being here for a bit really makes me appreciate how well we americans have it. just simple things like clean, running water and electricity... oh, and well paved roads to drive our cars on (the s2000 wouldn't make it 5 feet on these roads). anyhow, here some more pics of our AO -


some nice views out here. this was in alishang district to our northeast. very beautiful, but too bad the road going through there is IED alley...

that's me handing out some pens to kids. for some reason they all love pens and harass the crap out of us for them. it's like afghan gold or something...


wherever we stop crowds gather. us convoys are always a spectacle. they like to check out our vehicles and our weapons and bug us for food, water, and pens. btw, that road we're stopped on is about a four-mile stretch of cobblestone all laid by hand, jebus!
