Default WTD Internet/TV?

I really can't stand Comecast, I've had Cablevision for years and recently went with Verizon FIOS, and it's amazing. I called comecast to review their services and they charge way more then anyone else, icluding service costs for running coax (which verizon nor cablevision charge for). Their internet service is below sub par compared to todays standards.

I've heard direct tv is even worse expense wise. So now I'm stuck not sure what to do.

I need internet (work from home and email is my life line).....TV I guess it would be hard to live w/out ....phones I could just stick with wireless.

Internet wise I guess I could go with DSL but OMG thats antiquated technology. Oh boy I think I should get a partial t1 into the house and stream yourtube and tulu or whatever.

I wish we had fios but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I think verizon is kind of cherry picking wealthy, densely populated communities to deploy in.
we rural folk will never see it.
