is this a 4cyl or v8 turbo?....big fan of Lotus as well

 

they are bringing those back, that's what R&D article said, they will be using BMW 540 powerplant.

 

It's a 4cyl turbo.

 

They made the 4-cylinder through 94, this is an early charge cooled SE, and went to the V8 in 96/97. The body style has been the same since 88.

The 4-cylinder chargecooled cars are just as fast as the v8, a bit less power but also a bit lighter. Like the S2000 you just have to keep the revs up.

I saw this car at Vehinet yesterday... Very nice!

 

I know two people who own one each. One white, one yellow last summer they did an engine overhaul on one.
