Woohooo yeehaawww

I took the S today to dedicate enough miles to commit to VTECing. I went for a quick drive through milford downtown then to silver sands I had a family (Middlebury) outing at noon so for all you milford guys, don't start for not calling you all. After lunch I went through Middlebury, Woodbury, Watertown, Naugatuck, Prospect, Cheshire, mostly backroad scenic routes. I also had a dinner party at another relatives (Cheshire) I was heading toward their place and then I had this sudden urge...

The car and tires was nice and hot, I was coming out of some twisties in third close to 5k with a good 1/2 mile straight away on route 70 in Cheshire when I looked over to my wife and told her to hang on. Well as I got onto the straight in third gear I put the pedal to the metal and - - and SCARED the s t out of my wife. Man the S got very very mean. The sound and rush! Whew, I pulled into the drive and was from ear to ear.

Tonight coming home down route 69 onto the merrit. As I was entering the merrit in second I just couldn't hold myself. I VTEC'd in 2 ,3 ,4 then let her whine out. All I can say is WOW! I don't know how I will sleep tonight. I had my lude but in no way did it behave as mean as the S! I could only imagine if I had an CAI...

I have a CAI from 4IGS and it took the snarl of VTEC and turned it into a MEAN growl. It's much louder and it just sounds really mean when VTEC kicks in. Out of VTEC it has a really deep throaty sound when the throttle is wide open. It sounds great. It also runs better, more power from the K&N filter and CAI. Also have much more room in the engine bay, now.
