Ok I'm not complaining about the heat but observing.....
holy crap I was digging post holes and mixing and pouring the concrete for footing for the replacement staircase on the deck.
I got on the bathroom scale this morning and just got on it after my shower.
I lost 6.5 pounds in sweat while I was out there and that is after a bunch of water and food when I came in.... phew...


and yes I was wearing the same clothing both times which is to say, none.

of course I know I'll find it overnight again.

It was HOT!

We packed a lunch and headed to Colt State Park in RI today. Staked out a spot under a tree to read and watch the world go by.

Went for a stroll on the path near the water and the air was barely moving. We did get a breeze when we headed in the other direction, but it was not refreshing at all.

There was a wedding going on in the "chapel" The groom and some guys were in suits. They must have been dying!
