Winter storage
Looks like Im putting my house on the market in December or January. If I sell in the winter I will be looking for someplace to store my S.
I will be living with my fiancee until we sell her place and buy another. She has a one car garage, but she only has room for 1 other vehicle in the driveway, so putting the S in her garage is out. Plus its so crammed in there I would be afraid of something falling on it.
Does anyone rent a storage space for the winter? Do those self storage places allow car starage? Just trying to find an economical option.
Between planning a wedding, looking to sell 2 different homes, and buying another... I think Im gonna go into brain meltdown.
Any advice? I mean on the car not my upcoming nuptuals.

If you have the space in the yard try the 20' x 10' portable garages they sell at Sam's Club for $200. Just be very careful to rope it down to something solid. I have my 69 Camaro in it and it works great. You do have to knock the snow off after a storm, but it is easy to do from the inside with a broom. Two people can set it up in 30 minutes. Many of my buds have used these for years with boats and classic muscle cars. They are heavy duty white tents.
It will hold me over until I build a carriage house. Good luck what ever you do.
Oh yeah, if you put the house on the market in January you probably won't need to move the car for at least 45 days and that is if you sell it right away.

Mine goes into a rented storage garage in Hartford for $100 a month. Very safe and i checked the place out. has 24/7 cameras and security. Only thing is, is that its one big open 1st floor of a tall empty building. But for the price and security i cant go wrong. However, i dont have 24/7 access. I have to go start my S up and check up on her during business hours which are sun-saturday 8am to 6pm. If i wasnt so far from Fall-River id split that garage with you though...

Tom Balon has storage for $150 a month heated with air filtration and IR cams if interested. This is where my car is being stored. There is a inside wash bay also.
Not sure if Manchester NH is out of reach for you? Also both Tom and I are NES2KO members so you know your car will be safe.
