Default Winter car storage options

Hi everyone,
I am a long time SoCal member and I've been in Springfield, going to school for the past 2 years. Finally contemplating shipping my AP1 over, but since I have no garage I was wondering if you guys can offer suggestions on any places in Western Mass or CT near the Springfield area to store the S2k over the winter months. What would the average price per month to store the car over the winter months in Western Mass?

Thanks ahead for the help.

Commercial storage facilities should cost around $200/month (+ or - $50) for indoor storage. Heated units will cost more. Some will have a no access policy that will prevent you from taking it out while it is in storage. Springfield could be cheaper. I'm in eastern MA where everything costs more.

Try the county fairgrounds. Usually have nice dry, paved buildings.

No clue what it is in Western MA, but a car is about $300 for the season in Ohio. In 1 November. Out 1 April. This is one time in/out, you can't drive it on nice days or even access it without a fee. Car is on it's tires and there's no battery charging. Works very well for my 23' camper and boat. I'll be keeping the S2000 in my garage, though, this winter.

A storage unit will cost between $100 and $125 in the Springfield/ Agawam area. You may want to store the S in a facility that has some security such as fenced in facility with a gate requiring an access code. You may also need ramps since a lot of the storage units are a few inches to nine inches above the pavement. I know of a good storage facility in Whately MA (Whately Self Storage, but that is a forty minute drive from downtown Springfield.

Do we have do something with our car insurance? If so will that affect our premiums assuming we store it in a different city?

I stored my S in a small drive in storage unit in Manchester NH a few years before I had a garage, if I remember it was around 125$ a month and they required that the car have proof of liability insurance coverage.
