The good thing is, it's not real money.

American Express could not pay its bills, so it applied to the Government and converted to bank holding company and recieved bailout money from our Government.

I wonder how come it was so easy for a credit card company in bad financial conditions could convert to bank holding company so easily.

Bank holding company must have lower legal and financial requirements than a lousy credit card company then.

In another words, everyone.......bend over and say ah!

Funny thing is, if American Express were late on their bills, would anyone send them a pass due notice and threaten to report them the the credit bureau?
