or try this buy from crutchfiled here

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_054L18L/Nikon...lue.html?tp=262

add like one tiny thing to get you over $100.00 and then try the 20% off code listed below

http://www.retailmenot.com/view/crutchfield.com
Code didn't work, but also can get a batter charger and four rechargables for $17.99.

Good deal? Free shipping too.

What about that charger and batteries for $18.00...sounds decent.

I HAD hoped to spend a bit less, but seems like a decent enough camera. I guess I could wait a bit longer....think the prices will get better as holiday gets closer?

i'd go the battery route from CVS as it will only cost you $5.00 after the ECBs (extra care bucks)

BTW, you will make someone a good wife someday. You cook, you shop for bargains, any guy/gal, would be lucky to have you.

The camera I ordered came in. The Nikon Cool Pix L18. I have to say, it's pretty neat. Way more than the granddaughter will need, but from what I can see, it's pretty easy to use and the pic looks pretty clear.

Plenty of settings if she get into it and wants to try a few tricks, but the auto settings will do just fine for now.

I hope she enjoys it....heck if I broke my current camera and needed a cheap digital camera, for $99.00 this camera looks pretty darn good to me.
