The reason the sonys are a little more is becasue they come with a lithium battery that you will never replace. bad side is they use memory sticks
Since I know the camera may not survive 6 months, gotta stay cheap! I do want to "go new" for her since it's a gift.

I have a strong personal hatred for device-specific battery packs/chargers. I demand generic AA or AAA so that I never again throw a device away because the battery pack or charger died.

I do make an exception to that rule for my cordless drill, etc. But for low-current devices, I'll never again buy anything that uses a specific battery pack rather than generic AA/AAA's.

Note: I have a bunch of Li ion AA's and AAA's and a charger, so I'm not throwing used batteries away on a weekly basis.

Does the Kodak Easy Share demand their own type of charger? I thought I read something about that in one of the reviews.....

"Does Office Depot accept coupons from Competitors?

Yes. Coupons are accepted in-store only. Acceptance of coupons from the Competitors is subject to the terms and conditions listed on the coupon.

Office Depot does not accept Competitor coupons for free/promotional or non-identical products.

so walk in and just ask the folks at the service desk if they accept "coupons from Competitors" because you thought that was the policy and when they say yes we do.. do the
